Royal Lahore Fort.
Lahore Capital Of Punjab Is Located At  Latitude 30-34 North & Longitude 74-20 East & is 214 meteres above the Sea Level.The Fort Is irregular In Plan Being about 427 Meters East To West & 335 Meters North To South.Mughal Emperor Akbar The Great Demolished The earlier Mud Construction & Rebuilt In Burnt Brick in 1566 AD.Akbars Successors Jehangir Shah Jehan & Aurangzeb Added Several Buildings To The Fort.The Sikhs Occupied The Fort In 18th Centenary AD.Maharaja Ranjit Singh raised a Defence Wall on the Northern Side.The Fort came under The British Military Occupation in 1849.Archaelogical Survey Of India Took It Over In 1927 For Preservation & Restoration.
